Poha Academy is an open educational initiative dedicated to providing accessible, high-quality, and completely free online training resources in technology and future skills. The name "Poha" (پوهه) translates to "knowledge" or "understanding" in Pashto—reflecting our belief that digital literacy is the key to local development, financial independence, and inclusion in the global freelance economy.
We focus on high-demand technical disciplines, including web design, software development, data analytics, cyber safety, and prompt engineering for generative AI. By providing dual-language resources in English and clean, highly legible Pashto script (using the Vazirmatn typeface), we ensure that language barriers do not prevent passionate learners from achieving tech proficiency.
